The offshore wind industry, one of the main contributors to the UK renewable energy targets in the immediate future is an attractive business.

The growth of the industry is rather impressive with more than 500 turbines installed since 2003. Despite this, governmental and institutional supports are still critical for the majority of the projects and all the businesses involved.
